In a world where space saving engineering is key, the Oyster 3 may be larger than the Oyster 2: it sits higher, has a larger footprint, larger turbine wheels and even takes a 20kg child. To make life easier, the Oyster 3 fold is exceptionally compact for its size and it folds with the seat unit attached. There is also a retractable carry handle, making it easier to handle, whether storing away or on public transport.
Chassis
The beautifully crafted Oyster3 chassis is intricately finished with a hand-stitched bumper bar and handle, which features a telescopic adjustment design. BabyStyle have integrated an ultra-smooth ride with new larger turbine design wheels housed by ER-foam filled tyres that are both highly durable and puncture-free. Oyster3 also features a softer suspension for multi-terrain outings as well as swivel front wheels, which are lockable via a single switch.
What’s really impressive about Oyster3 is the fact the it grows with the passenger from baby to child; there are two release buttons on the edge of the hood that when pressed simultaneously allows the parent to adjust the height of the canopy and harness without touching the straps.
Seat Unit
This is a stroller that in pushchair mode, will fold with the seat in both the forward and rear-facing positions. Removing and refitting the seat is both easy and ergonomic; simply reach and pull up the strap nestled between the seat and backrest and lift. The seat also has a full ‘lie-flat recline’ (in both positions) making it suitable from birth, a 5-point safety harness with both shoulder pads and a headrest for extra comfort, and an unzip extendable canopy featuring UV 50+ protection, a pull-out sun visor and ventilation net for hot summer days.
Carrycot
The Oyster 3 carrycot is bigger when compared to its predecessor and offers a cozy environment for your newborn. It comes complete with mattress and has a central leather handle for easy transport.
A new feature is the pull out feet which will allow you to put the carrycot down while the baby is still in it.
Tinca Car Seat
The i-Size compliant seat ensures safe rearward facing travelling, providing extra protection for baby’s head and neck. The newborn inlay keeps the head of your baby safe and comfortable as it will always fit perfectly. Next to that, the Tinca has Side Impact Protection for additional protection. This means the Tinca contains improved impact-absorbing material, which absorbs even more force from an impact, in case of an accident.
Whether in the car or on a walk, Tinca is one for everyone. For parents, because its lightweight design makes it very easy to carry their little one to and from the car. And for babies, thanks to the newborn inlay with headrest cushion and the large UV protective sun canopy. The Tinca is compatible with most Maxi-Cosi strollers and can be easily released from one of them thanks to the memory release buttons.
Isofix Base
Maxi-Cosi’s Tinca base is the perfect match with the Maxi-Cosi Tinca car seat, providing you with an easy-to-use Click & Go installation.
Our Maxi-Cosi Tinca base easily attaches to your car’s ISOFIX anchor points. Once installed, you can leave the Tinca base in the car. This way, every time you need to get in and out of the car, the Tinca baby car seat is fitted onto the base with a simple and secure "click”. Visual indicators on the base notify you when your Tinca base and Tinca car seat are correctly installed, and you are ready to go.
Additionally, Tinca base complies with the latest European i-Size safety standard for car seats, thereby offering state-of-the-art safety performance.
Oyster Changing Bag
The Oyster changing bag is designed to compliment the Oyster 3 pram.
It provides ample storage for all the essentials and includes changing mat.
There are 2 side clips allowing you to attach the bag directly onto the Oyster chassis.
Oyster Footmuff
The Babystyle Oyster Footmuff was designed to compliment the fabric options of the Oyster 3.
Keep your little one warm and cosy on those chilly days with the Babystyle Oyster Footmuff.
When the weather warms up you can remove the top layer of the Oyster Footmuff and use it as a stylish liner for your Oyster Pushchair.
